Chapter 2017 - 1023: Return to the Academy
Chapter 2017 - 1023: Return to the Academy
Dorothy finally returned to the Witch Academy after a long absence.
They returned quietly, since they didn’t take the regular portal, which would require dealing with troublesome entry procedures and take a roundabout route, consuming quite a bit of time.
The homebody witch had painstakingly managed to persuade the super homebody Spider Teacher, so she couldn’t let any unexpected delays occur. Naturally, she decisively pulled out the Conceptual Gate from the Judgment Court.
After quietly recalling the appearance of the main gate at the Witch’s Home, Dorothy pushed open the door of the workshop in front of her. Immediately, the familiar scenery of the little cottage in the forest greeted her eyes.
Then, the group swiftly passed through the Conceptual Gate and arrived at the Witch’s Home Sky Island.
This time more people returned; basically, all the sisters came back.
Audrey came to help Spider Teacher with her move, and she also needed to go to the academy to handle some off-campus study procedures.
Madeline and Senior Mia needed to return to handle their graduation procedures and receive their diplomas.
Alice also needed to apply for early graduation, and together with Madeline, she had to handle the handover of Armed Society matters and Disciplinary Team Thirteen positions.
Sophia was relatively free, since she had already graduated early, but she still came along. Mainly because Dorothy needed her God King Holy Child status when she later went to see the Academy Head to request the transfer of Spider Teacher.
The Pure White Witch rolled her eyes at her lady.
Her grandmother, the Academy Head, was even more affectionate toward her lady’s pupil than she was to herself; there was no need for her to show up.
But oh well, her lady is her Lord, whatever the Lord says is right, and as a retainer, she must serve loyally, so she accompanied her on this trip.
Although, if it wasn’t necessary, Sophia didn’t plan to appear on the Angel Witch’s turf, since she still didn’t know how she died as the First Ancestor of the Angel Witch in her past life.
But she glanced at the teacher who came along, and immediately felt safe again.
Hmm, this time Mother Dragon also came along; she’s here to help her best friend move.
However, it’s not just Spider Teacher moving this time; Dorothy is also planning to move the Witch’s Home Sky Island.
After all, they probably won’t return to the Witch Academy for a long time, so the house she painstakingly bought before can’t just be left here collecting dust; it needs to be moved.
Anyway, soon they’ll head to the Mechanical Wilderness, and conquering the world isn’t something that can be done quickly. Dorothy plans to move the Witch’s Home back to upgrade it using leftover materials from constructing the workshop, and then directly take it into the Mechanical Wilderness as their base.
In short, everyone has their own matters to attend to; they’re all quite busy.
"This has really been a rather long holiday, hasn’t it?"
Back in the familiar Witch’s Home, Dorothy couldn’t help but sigh.
For other witch classmates, the two-month summer break was quite short, so short that they hadn’t had enough fun yet, nor had they done their summer homework. But for the homebody witch, it was truly a tumultuous two months.
"Alright then, let’s split up and act, and gather back here later."
The homebody witch said this to her sisters.
"Okay."
The sisters nodded their heads, then each went their separate ways.
Mia, Madeline, and Alice walked together; they needed to complete their graduation procedures.
Dorothy and Audrey walked together; they had to handle off-campus study procedures. Sophia, the former Student Council President, naturally knew these procedures like the back of her hand and would guide them through the process.
Meanwhile, Spider Teacher and Mother Dragon first went to the Automated Mechanical Civil Engineering department to pack things up, planning to meet with the Academy Head after Dorothy and Audrey finished their procedures.
The three groups left one after another.
The focus first shifts to the Armed Society trio.
Mia and Madeline’s graduation procedures naturally went smoothly.
After all, one was the head of the Alchemy Department and the other was the head of the Combat Magic System; their records and strengths were extremely strong, surpassing the levels of typical outstanding graduates. The academy had no reason to hold them back and promptly issued their diplomas.
As for Little Alice here...
"Alice, first of all, your practical course grades are all excellent, especially the practical parts of the Combat Magic System and Necromancy, reaching the graduation standard. However, you have failed several theoretical courses..."
The graduation officer pushed the silver glasses up the bridge of his nose and looked down sternly at the petite witch trembling before him.
Alice: "...."
The little witch was completely frozen. She had spent the last two months traveling around with her sister and forgot that after the holiday, she had a pile of failed cultural courses that needed retaking.
The scariest part was that she hadn’t reviewed at all, so she’d have to gamble on her resit exams.
Fortunately, she didn’t come alone today.
"Teacher, I remember there’s an internship bonus policy in the academy. Alice can use internship credits to make up for her lacking cultural credits."
Senior Mia offered her help.
"Indeed there’s such a policy, but internship requirements are quite stringent; only internships from significant guilds with sufficient weight are valid."
