Substitute Bride: Utterly Pampered by Her Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1493: Have You Found Someone New?

Chapter 1493: Have You Found Someone New?

Mrs. Webb knew her princess was just shy, but she had to remind her. As someone who had been through this, she felt the young heir Morgan Ashworth had bad intentions and was itching to make a move.

Willow Crawford went to the back garden. She sat on the swing and personally opened the yogurt lid. Then she took a spoonful of yogurt and put it in her mouth. It was sour and sweet and delicious.

Willow Crawford put her little hand on her belly and said, "Baby, do you like it here? This is where daddy and mommy live together."

Recalling past sweetness, Willow Crawford arched her lips into a smile.

Then a familiar voice came from above, "What are you smiling about?"

Willow Crawford looked up, and Morgan Ashworth arrived.

"Oh, I wasn’t smiling at anything, just feeling my baby," Willow Crawford concealed as she took another bite of yogurt.

Morgan Ashworth watched her eat, "Is the yogurt delicious?"

"Yeah, it’s really good. Do you want to try some?" Willow Crawford naturally offered him a spoonful of yogurt.

Morgan Ashworth did not move.

Willow Crawford’s hand froze in mid-air. Remembering their current relationship, she realized it was inappropriate for them to be feeding each other like this; she had already eaten with the spoon.

"Forget it, if you want to eat, you can use a new spoon to try," Willow Crawford wanted to retract her hand.

But in the next second, her slender wrist was grasped. Morgan Ashworth pulled her in and bent his long body, eating the yogurt she offered.

"Mm, it tastes pretty good," he remarked.

Willow Crawford’s pretty little face immediately flushed with two unnatural crimson hues; he actually ate it.

He released her hand, causing Willow Crawford to wonder whether she should continue eating the yogurt in her hand.

Then Morgan Ashworth asked her, "Why did you stop eating?"

Eat.

Of course, I should eat; can’t let it go to waste.

Willow Crawford resumed eating her yogurt.

Now the spoon in her hand was shared between them.

"Do you want me to push you?"

"...Aren’t you supposed to be working?" She remembered him saying he needed to return for urgent matters but somehow had time to join her swinging.

Morgan Ashworth stood there, gazing deeply at her with lowered, handsome eyelids, "Do you want me to go work?"

What did he mean by this?

Willow Crawford suddenly couldn’t understand.

At this moment, Morgan Ashworth pointed at the corner of her lips, "Wipe here."

"What?"

Morgan Ashworth reached out and touched the corner of her lips.

She had just eaten yogurt, and the corners of her lips were smeared like a child. His thumb, covered in thin calluses, gently wiped away the yogurt.

Willow Crawford stiffened due to this sudden physical contact; her bright eyes gazed at him, clear as a startled deer, pure and incomparable.

Morgan Ashworth’s fingers didn’t leave her face, lightly stroking her little face.

The atmosphere between the two turned instantly ambiguous.

Just then, Mrs. Webb hurried over, "Princess, why did you come here by yourself? You’re making me search for you."

Someone’s here.

Willow Crawford quickly turned her face aside, and Morgan Ashworth also retracted his hand, slightly furrowing his brows.

Willow Crawford blushed as she stood up, "Mrs. Webb, I just came out for some air, wasn’t doing anything."

She said she wasn’t doing anything, but from a distance, Mrs. Webb saw that this young heir was touching her princess’s face.

"Princess, let’s go back inside, now that you’re pregnant, you can’t run around. From now on, don’t leave my sight. Young heir, we’ll head inside first." Mrs. Webb directly led Willow Crawford inside.

Left standing where he was, Morgan Ashworth pressed his lips together, finding Mrs. Webb both annoying and meddlesome.

...

Mrs. Webb stuck closely by Willow Crawford’s side, feeling as if something would happen today.

A maid approached, whispering to Willow Crawford, "Miss Crawford, my master invites you upstairs. You left some old belongings here before, and he doesn’t know how to handle them. Could you come and have a look?"

Willow Crawford stood up, "Okay."

Mrs. Webb immediately wanted to stop her, but before she could speak, her legs felt weak, and her head began to spin.

What was happening to her?

By then, Willow Crawford had already followed the maid upstairs and entered the master bedroom. Mrs. Webb’s eyes went black as she fainted directly onto the couch.

She could rest well now.

In the master bedroom, Willow Crawford walked in softly; this room was her and Morgan Ashworth’s love nest, and she found herself back here.

She left without taking anything, and the room remained unchanged, still as when she left.

The dressing table held her skincare products, the closet contained her clothes and shoes, and the bed still had two pillows, one hers and one his.

"Does your master not live here anymore?" Willow Crawford asked.

The maid nodded, "Yes, Miss Crawford, my master sleeps in the study now. Nothing here has changed."

Rippled emotions rose within Willow Crawford, who sat by the bed and gently stroked his pillow with her slender, fair hand.

It seemed to retain his clean scent, reminiscent of waking up in his arms every morning.

All past poignant memories unfolded in her mind like a movie. Willow Crawford hugged his pillow to her chest.

Just then, she noticed Morgan Ashworth entered. She didn’t know when he arrived, and his pillow remained in her embrace.

"Why are you here?" Willow Crawford hid his pillow behind her in a panic, feeling caught and guilty.

Morgan Ashworth quietly watched her; he had been observing for a while, seeing her lingering feelings for the room, and her foolish embrace of his pillow.

"Why are you panicking?" Morgan Ashworth sat beside her.

Willow Crawford panicked even more, "I’m not panicking. I don’t want anything here. You deal with it; I’ll go down first."

Willow Crawford wanted to flee as the feeling of heart palpitations seemed uncontrollable. She had to leave.

However, Morgan Ashworth grabbed her slender arm, not letting her go.

"What are you doing? Let me go first." Willow Crawford struggled.

Morgan Ashworth looked at her and suddenly asked, "Did you find someone new?"

What?

What does he mean by finding someone new?

It took Willow Crawford several seconds to realize he was asking if she had started a new relationship.

She’s now pregnant, how could she start, and why did he speak so unpleasantly, asking about finding someone new?

Willow Crawford tried to shake off his hand, "That’s my private matter; I won’t tell you."

Morgan Ashworth pulled her into his embrace, his long fingers threading through her black hair, forcefully sealing her red lips.

Willow Crawford’s mind exploded with a "boom"; what was he doing, he was actually kissing her?

Willow Crawford’s small hands pressed against his chest, attempting to push him away.
