Chapter 1551 Saving a Half Dead Senior Brother (2)

Chapter 1551 Saving a Half Dead Senior Brother (2)

Having reached a temporarily safe location, Qing Yi and Chun Hua wasted no time in restoring the little bit of strength they had used to rescue their senior brother after having made sure that he was fine.

The main problem that stood before them this time around was not just the fact that the cloud they were currently hiding inside of would inevitably float away, giving the oversized rat demon beasts a clear view of them, but also that they would have to find a way past the wandering cultivators that would be waiting for them on the floating island with the path out of the secret or mystic realm that they found themselves inside of.

The reason why both Qing Yi and Chun Hua believed that the wandering cultivators would be waiting on them on the other side being rather simple, as they should have returned with enough interspatial rings to carry all the spirit stones by now and would inevitably be looking to explore the rest of the place for more spirit stones or other treasures.

Given how easy it was to find the bridge of light, they should have already found it and should at the same time be waiting for the cloud to pass by before daring to venture off the floating island with the path out.

After all, they were not really pressed for time and would want to be as safe as possible in an unfamiliar environment.

Even if Qing Yi and Chun Hua could use their strength to push through and escape by catching the wandering cultivators off guard, they still had to ensure their senior brother's safety. Meaning that only one of them would be able to focus their full attention on trying to breakthrough the wandering cultivators.

As for just casual wandering out of the cloud and acting like they had never seen the gate out of the mystic realm... That was an option, but both Qing Yi and Chun Hua felt that it was unlikely for them to just be granted safe passage because of this, as the wandering cultivators would undoubtedly be interested in learning more about this place filled with treasures. Even if it meant they would end up having to fight to get the information from them. Information that they didn't have.

Trying to lie to them in this kind of situation was an option, but Chun Hua highly doubted that the two of them could fool this group of experienced wandering cultivators who had been around risking their lives cultivating on their own far before they had even been born.

With that in mind, the two of them ultimately decided on continuing to wait inside the cloud. Planning to try and use the confusion and panic they would cause when they came running with the oversized rat demon beasts chasing after them from behind.

Given the strength and numbers of those oversized rat demon beasts, it would force the wandering cultivators into retreating in a panic... And if they could make use of that panic, they could potentially slip past them with their superior strength and speed, being the first to leave the mystic realm before collapsing the cave that the entrance was inside of after they left.

Buying themselves enough time to escape before the wandering cultivators had the chance to chase after them.

Although this was risky considering that the wandering cultivators could react calmly to the situation and work together to forcibly block them while they escaped from the mystic realm first, the two of them highly doubted the wandering cultivators would be able to work smoothly together faced with the terrifying charge of the oversized rat demon beasts.

ROoooar!

Roar!

"You don't have to say that twice!"

Not that it really mattered, as the wandering cultivators couldn't care less about Qing Yi and Chun Hua, as they were instead far more focused on getting themselves out of danger as fast as possible.

Whoosh-!

In the end, everything worked out like Qing Yi and Chun Hua wanted it to, as they smoothly managed to dash past the panicked and confused wandering cultivators who showed no intention of blocking their path. Leaving the mystic realm along with their senior brother without any problems before collapsing the cave behind them as they rapidly made their way out of the mountain range. Not daring to waste any time, as those wandering cultivators would be jumping on them after they regrouped outside the mystic realm.

After all, they had been the ones to lead the demon beasts towards them and had essentially used them to block the demon beasts that had been chasing after them.

The main reason they had not been blocked had to do with the fact that they had deliberately showed off their strong presence, though most of that had to do with the rather terrifying presence their senior brother gave off, as it was at a level that would make even a Peak Domain Lord Realm cultivator shiver in fear.

Of course, this intimidation would disappear the moment they realized the state of their senior brother, but at the very least in the panicked state following the appearance of the oversized rat demon beasts, they hadn't been able to realize that the terrifying presence wasn't coming from one of the two woman, but instead the half dead man that they were carrying along with them.

Rumble-! Bang!

Turning back towards the collapsing cave as they escaped in the direction of the fallen Sky Empire's old territory, Qing Yi and Chun Hua could not help breathing a sigh of relief. Understanding that the most dangerous part of the escape was finished, as they would now just have to make it back to the Star Shattering Sect so they could get their senior brother looked after.

At least that was what they wished to be the case...

ROOOOAR-!

"DAMNABLE BEAST! DIEEEE!"

Unfortunately for them, just when they thought they had managed to make it to somewhere safe and got through the most dangerous part of their journey, they came to realize that the formerly peaceful part of the mountain range had turned into a massive battlefield, as a large demon beast clashed with a powerful cultivator not too far away. Sending shockwaves that cracked the ground and sent weaker demon beasts flying whenever they clashed.

Even for Qing Yi and Chun Hua, it was difficult for them to keep themselves straight faced with the shockwaves of this battle. Making it clear to them that the two fighting were not just in the Soul Ascension Realm, but they should also be considered strong within the Soul Ascension Realm. Possibly both having at least Reached the Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm or above.

Worse than that, they just so happened to be blocking their path out of the mountain range...
