Chapter 508 508: Insulting the Fox to Death with a Malicious Nickname

In the dimly lit basement, only the rustling sound of pages turning could be heard.

Tōshinin stared at the two humanoid silhouettes in the darkness, thinking to himself that if the Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki hadn't been deceived by the Akatsuki and hadn't started the Third Great Shinobi War, the village wouldn't be in such a miserable state.

After a long while, Uchiha Obito set down Kyōi's file and turned to ask:

"Tōshinin, in your position as Tsuchikage, you practically humiliated yourself by presenting a surrender agreement to Fox. Tōshinin knew he was not the Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki, knew he had no right to seek revenge, yet feelings of grievance and humiliation were undoubtedly present.

In the largest port city of the Land of Waves, Jiraiya stood outside the Divine Hall with the staff officers from the frontline headquarters, waiting for reinforcements from the village.

The first two to walk out from the courtyard of the Divine Hall were Fox and Orochimaru.

Jiraiya asked, "So? Has the Land of Earth war ended?"

"It's over. Iwagakure has surrendered to Konoha. Fox also killed the Land of Earth's Daimyō and established some kind of Joint Government there."
