Chapter 89 Accidental Killing
"Karl El, your ship's signal disappeared between sectors 2813 and 2814 twenty years ago."
You have no idea how happy I was to see you on this earth a few days ago!
I have been in this galaxy for almost twenty years, hiding in the shadows, controlling their politics and technology, and clearing many obstacles for the impending arrival of the Kryptonian army.
But I never expected that you would suddenly interfere, and that you would be the last obstacle preventing me from taking over the earth.

Kara's pure black metal armor took shape as one piece after being fully deployed. The metal parts, which were like scales, were nested and recoupled until no gaps were visible. Under the sunlight, the pure black outer lining now shimmered with a counterintuitive silver-white.
For Kara, this outer armor fit her perfectly, as if it were a natural fit.
It was yet another lead-containing artifact—although Joey couldn't see through the inside of this armor, he could tell that its purpose was definitely more than just decoration.
Because the radiation power of the other party's bio-force field is currently surging.
If Joey could think of stealing Iron Man's Arc Reactor to power himself, there's no reason why other Kryptonians wouldn't have thought of it.
Kara's armor also has a tiny laser engraving mark on the left shoulder, with Kryptonian script that looks like computer gibberish to Earthlings.
Based on what Joey had learned before, these words should translate to:
"Reo, no, 'Sword of Raoh,' Kryptonian Warriors Guild number 1555."
Joey involuntarily read the contents of Zhan Shen's article aloud.
The white-haired fake Kara—or perhaps the real Kara now—sounded much less angry under Joey's transparent visor after hearing his words.
"Thank you, Rao! You can actually read. I thought you could only read at most!"
Rao is the creator god in Krypton's original beliefs, a personification of the red star in their galaxy by the ancient Kryptonians.
Thanks to Raoh, roughly equivalent to a Kryptonian version of Thanksgiving God.
Joey now wondered how the other party truly viewed him, a Kryptonian who had been living abroad. With a Kryptonian's mind, how difficult could it be to learn a new written language?
Is it something to be happy about to learn to read?
"Of course I can read! Did you think I was some kind of literary genius...? Oh dear!"
Taking advantage of Joey's moment of rebuttal, the white-haired Kara suddenly punched him in the face, causing a nosebleed to splatter.
"Focus, Karl El!"
The two were already practically face-to-face at a distance of several thousand meters, not to mention that the Kryptonian Kara's speed increased by an entire order of magnitude after equipping the armor.
This caused Joey, who was already unprepared, to immediately lose all the advantage he had gained, and he could only come to one conclusion.
That's because the girl in front of me, Kara, is a bit petty.
He only called her a clone and had previously hit her on the nose, but who knew that she would be so unethical as to launch a sneak attack just to vent her anger.
"Joey Joseph Kent, or Joey, that's my real name!"
Joey retaliated with a punch, but Kara blocked it all with an elbow strike. Joey, who was used to a body of steel, felt a sharp pain in his knuckles during this collision.
It was like flesh and blood encountering steel: "Hiss!"
Kara's armor pulsated with a lifelike metallic sheen, conjuring a sharp blade at her wrist. Joey's words only fueled her rage.
"Having a name like an Earth savage doesn't make you an Earthling, you idiot!"
With a swift backhand slash, she sliced open the large "S" shaped logo on Joey's chest, along with the flesh beneath, leaving a deep wound that exposed bone.
"And one more thing—don't make a fuss like a savage living on Earth."
Just because Earth's weapons can't hurt you doesn't mean weapons from Krypton can't!
Kryptonians under the yellow sun are deadly to others, and Kryptonian creations exposed to the same environment are also deadly to Kryptonians.
At this moment, Joey's chest wound was almost impossible to heal, and a large amount of blood gushed out from it. After breaking free from the binding force field, it quickly condensed into round, blood-red ice beads in space.
The blade that had just slashed Joey's chest had once again transformed into fluid and seeped into Kara's stomach. Kara stretched out her hand and grabbed Joey's neck, suffocating him.
"Abandon your foolish human name, Karl El, and take on the responsibilities you should bear like an adult!"
You're not a child anymore. You can't spend your whole life playing with a bunch of ants in this barbaric world!
Joey was too weak to speak; he was being choked and struggling to breathe. Seeing this, Kara softened her grip on Joey's neck and loosened her hold on him.
"This wasn't my intention. Things shouldn't have turned out this way. The spaceship carrying you should have told you everything when you were a child!"
The 'S' emblem of the El family is almost the only symbol of unity and hope on Krypton, yet now they are forced to turn against each other.
The ancestors of the El family led the Kryptonians from the primitive era, overcoming countless obstacles to reach the stars.
Kara herself now doesn't know how to quickly turn her barbarian cousin back into a civilized person.
Perhaps using a deadly Kryptonite blade to slit a large gash in the chest is not the best approach.
Kara might call her behavior "strict love".
But she also understood that if the other party's father, Joe Al, found out about this, he might just throw her into the Phantom Zone to calm down for a few days.
"Please, Kal'el, you've already tried it, you know how easy it is to rule these barbarians. What difference does it make to them whether you rule them or Krypton rules them?"
"You're absolutely right about one thing..."
Joey could finally catch his breath. He reached out and grabbed Kara's right hand, which was gripping his neck, his eyes bloodshot.
"That means I have to take every battle seriously, like a true Kryptonian!"
As Joey exerted force with both hands, the active metal on Kara's wristband began to show ripples of strain, until it finally collapsed.
Joey grabbed the other person's forearm and flung them into the far reaches of space, followed by a beam of super heat vision that could illuminate half of the Earth's night sky.
Even with the protection of the bio-force field, Kara's armor ultimately succumbed to the heat vision and turned into molten metallic spheres.
Joey's follow-up punch accelerated Kara, who was flying backward, to near-light speed. After crashing into Ganymede, Kara slowed down slightly as her kinetic energy was absorbed.
Then, along with the satellite debris, it was captured by the gravity of Jupiter, the most massive planet in the solar system, and crashed directly into Jupiter's atmosphere.
Kara, who had fallen into this sea of hydrogen alkyl, had her black armor and the white tight-fitting uniform underneath both badly damaged by the previous attack.
Although the armor is still trying its best to repair itself, it is no longer sustainable after losing too much mass.
Her entire body felt as if it were being scorched by flames, but this was not due to the environment of Jupiter, but rather the burns caused by Joey's heat vision.
Before she could even regain her sense of direction, Joey, following the trail of the debris, came close behind and punched her in the temple, wedging her into the ground.
At this moment, Joey felt as if he had returned to the night he fought another "Superman". All he wanted now was to completely kill and tear the Kryptonian in front of him to pieces!
Kara was about to get up and fight back when Joey grabbed her hair with one hand and spun her to the ground. The Kryptonian's steel head made intimate contact with the dense iron surface of Jupiter, creating a crater hundreds of meters wide.
Then came the second and third impacts...
Jupiter's extremely dense methane, hydrogen, and nitrogen atmosphere blocks most of the sunlight, so the battle between the two here will eventually end with one side running out of energy.
And this person is very likely to be Kara.
Seeing that Joey wanted to repeat this countless times, Kara finally stopped holding back.
She used the little metal she had left in her armor to form a sharp spike at her elbow and swung it backward. In an instant, she felt herself pierce something solid.
As the sound of the blade leaving her body and blood splattering filled the air, Joey, who was pressing down on Kara, finally stopped moving.
Kara, having successfully countered, hastily escaped Joey's pressure, and Joey behind her fell to the ground with a thud due to her push.
At this moment, the metal armor she was wearing had completed its final task and could no longer change or maintain its form.
It disintegrated directly into tiny metal fragments.
With hardly any intact clothing or skin on her body, Kara tore off her equally tattered cloak to cover her battered body, then sat down with her back to Joey, panting heavily.
After Kara finally caught her breath, she sat there for a long time, but she still couldn't muster the courage to turn around and check on her cousin.
From the moment she swung her blade and stabbed him, she couldn't hear Karl El's heartbeat anymore.
